This was a short, sweet, clean romance. I enjoyed the storyline very much. I do wish it had an epilogue though. I look forward to reading more by this author.
I has been a hard day and I needed a short inspirational book to read. I gave this story a five because it met my needs tonight. Following our Christian faith is hard some times and Katie had to stop and listen to the Lord before she made a mistake. I recommend this book to all need some renewal or just a good clean short story to read. Enjoy.
Enjoyable but would not have paid for it had I known it was going to end so quick. I don't recall it saying it was a short story .

This was a fun read.
I don't read a lot of Amish fiction because the adherence to man's rules over listening to God's voice as it's been painted in what I have read generally dismays me. This story reaffirmed that. But ... at the same time, I feel the author was aware of that and therefore, did an excellent job of painting the war within Katie to hear God speaking instead of all the voices around her. Elijah was sweet and the romance lovely and clean. It was short, but all the ends were tied up. I really enjoyed it. It did not, however, give me that tingle in your toes from reading a mind-blowing book.For this reason, I rate it 4 stars. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, clean read, both adult or teen.
