At first I wasn't that happy with the look of the book it wasn't what I expected but after reading the first interview I was very happy!!! It was well done, good questions, great answers and lots of good information on Aussies for herding & breed type & style. Left me wanting more hope there is another book coming out in the future with photos. Good book to go to when looking for an Aussie !!!Product details

This books is a delightful and informative read. The format allows one to compare and contrast training styles of the contributing trainers. While it is specific to the Aussie breed, trainers/handlers of other herding breeds can obtain helpful tips and techniques for their training routines.
My only complaint is it was over too soon. I can't wait for the second one. It is a great insight into herding. Loved it
Nice variety of interviewees. Differences in background, location, years of experience and how they got started.
Real plus to gain insights on how they start and train.
Looking forward to volume two.
Super book with amazing stories about aussies, their trainers, tips and insights. One thing I've learnt from the book is to let my dog go on instincts first up.

Very candid and open interviews about training Aussies. My husband has had Australian Shepherds for years and I don't "speak Aussie" as he does so I ordered this book for my own personal reference. Upon arrival of the book, my husband began reading it and is highly entertained and finds it by it (as am I). I recommend this book to anyone who has Aussies or an interest in working stock dogs.
